Fresno Station Early Works Invitation for Bid

The California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority) anticipates issuing an invitation for bid on a construction contract for retrofitting and restoring the historic Fresno Depot, utility relocations and connections, demolition, ADA improvement, park and plaza space development, and station multimodal parking and EV charging at the future Fresno station downtown H and G Street entrances. The Authority may, in its sole discretion, revise the terms set forth herein.

Scope – Term – Budget
The resulting contract will have a duration of 2 years and an estimated construction cost of approximately $50,000,000.

Schedule
The anticipated schedule for this contract is as follows:

  • Bid Advertisement: October 2025
  • Pre-Bid Conference/ Small Business Workshop and Job Walk: October 2025
  • Bids Due: November 2025
  • Contract Award and Notice to Proceed: December 2025

Access
The Bid Package will be available from the California State Contracts Register (CSCR) at the time of bid advertisement. Updates, including responses to bidder’s inquiries and any addenda, will be provided on the CSCR. Trimble Unity Construct will be utilized for electronic submission of bids.
