The California High-Speed Rail (HSR) Small Business Program along with the Prime Consultant Deutsche Bahn (DB) Engineering & Consulting USA Inc. will host a “Meet the Prime” event on June 5, 2024.  DB is looking for certified Small Businesses (SB), Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE), and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) participation. The guest speaker will discuss current progress and opportunities available for subcontractors.

The Workshop will cover:

  • An overview of the HSR Small Business Program  
  • Small Business certifications accepted by HSR 
  • Navigating the HSR Small Business webpages  
  • Registering your business in Connect HSR 
  • What is the Early Trainset Operator (ETO)? 
  • Current status of the ETO project 
  • Current available opportunities 
  • Opportunity Look ahead

NOTE: Interested firms should prepare company capability statements that include current license and certification status, and their area of interest. This information will allow DB to evaluate and make proper introductions to DB procurement teams.
